SWIM SEASON
We meet at the swimming pool
But not to go into the water
We don’t swim, we’re too cool,
We’re unlike any other
I bring my MP3-Player
We share my earphones, of course
I keep you, you’re a stayer
With me, you come to the source
The swimming pool is our casual spot
All we need to know happens there
Sunbathing and hanging out a lot
A little homework, lingering in the air
Forgot your towel, so I gave you mine
Did you know I never washed it?
It was so hot, started to visibly shine
Glad you didn’t touch my armpit
It was clear, you’re the reason I melt
And I had to pretend it’s nothing
I remember how embarrassed I felt
That was the day I began my loving
The swimming pool is our casual spot
All we need to know happens there
Sunbathing and hanging out a lot
A little homework, lingering in the air
When I walked past you on that snack stall
I was so shook from your presence
My body shivering visibly to all
I grabbed my friend’s hand for assistance
The swimming pool is our casual spot
All we need to know happens there
Sunbathing and hanging out a lot
A little homework, lingering in the air
