SWIM SEASON

We meet at the swimming pool

But not to go into the water

We don’t swim, we’re too cool,

We’re unlike any other

We share my earphones, of course

I keep you, you’re a stayer

Forgot your towel, so I gave you mine

Did you know I never washed it?

It was so hot, started to visibly shine

Glad you didn’t touch my armpit

It was clear, you’re the reason I melt

And I had to pretend it’s nothing

I remember how embarrassed I felt

That was the day I began my loving
