Remember when you ran that marathon?

You were always one ready to flee

I stopped you by the stadium,

You were hesitant to talk to me

 

Where are you now?

You stopped running

You are only hiding

You were sure to stand far away from me

This was before we had to keep the distance

I was crying “Who are we?”

But you went straight into passive resistance
